Many states in Australia have adopted lane filtering laws.

Each state has their own rules, and while much is similar, there are some differences in what you can and can’t do legally. Which in turn can cause some confusion for interstate riders.

What’s legal in Queensland may not be in New South Wales or Victoria.

A Matter Of Trust.

G’day

I reckon the best pillion I’ve ever had would’ve been Daka. He was a wiry sort of bloke, maybe 5’11” who weighed next to nothing. He was a rider himself, rode a GPz-1100 B2 as I recall.

Alas, he was a bit naughty on one or two occasions and the powers that be told him he couldn’t ride (or drive) for a rather lengthy period of time.

The Pillion and I made our way south to Penrith, an outer suburb of Sydney last weekend. We were unsure of what route we were going to take to get down here, all we knew, was that we didn’t want to rush.
