I Can See Clearly

G’day

In last weeks post, Take The Long Way Home, I mentioned arguing with myself about why I don’t ride the scenic route home from work more often:

The days were too short during winter for this route (but there is a slightly shorter alternative I retorted, you’d be home before dark. Easy)

Take The Long Way Home.

G’day

When I worked on the Gold Coast I was lucky enough to have an early knock off on a Friday, usually around 14:30.

This allowed me to take any one of a number of routes home through the Hinterland.

It Damned Near Killed Me!

G’day

When you’re young, you can’t wait until you’re a teenager so you can do all the big kid stuff.

A Bit Ginger.

G’day

Dandabah.

G’day

That was until a couple of weeks ago when The Handyman took me on a “short ride” (his words) out to Nanango and the Dandabah Camping and Picnic Area.

Time With Those That Matter.

G’day

The Pillion is not feeling the best at the moment, she’s battling Larry Gitis and Tone Sillitis. I have no idea who these two blokes are, but they better lay off and stop knocking her around so much.

To her credit The Pillion is still strong enough to insist that I get out of the house and stop bothering her while she battles Larry and Tone, even suggesting I take Jaja out on the bike to get some father, son time in.

Woody Point.

G’day

Last Sunday morning I stole The Pillion  for a few hours and took her down to Woody Point, I thought it’d be nice to spend some time together by the water and maybe go for a walk along the esplanade.
