I arrived home from work today to find a box full of old photos strewn all over the floor.
Yep, you guessed it, The Pillion got bored and was reminiscing about the old days.
Wouldn’t it be great if there were free motorcycle specific touring guides complete with maps and places of interest dedicated to each region in Australia?
There are of course several websites around that identify great riding roads, but these don’t seem to mention other attractions that may be of interest to motorcyclists visiting the area.

This week I thought I’d share another eBook, this time a little closer to where I live.

Each state has their own rules, and while much is similar, there are some differences in what you can and can’t do legally. Which in turn can cause some confusion for interstate riders.

When I worked on the Gold Coast I was lucky enough to have an early knock off on a Friday, usually around 14:30.
This allowed me to take any one of a number of routes home through the Hinterland.
