motorcycles, travel, friendship, respect… I may drift off into WTF-land at times so hang in there.

eBook: Ballina Base Motorcycle Touring Guide

G’day

Last week I presented an eBook about touring Tasmania on a motorcycle.

This week I thought I’d share another eBook, this time a little closer to where I live.

Well, it’s about 2-1/2 hours ride from me, but I consider it part of my backyard because I can easily do a return trip in a day.

eBook: A Riders Guide To Touring Tasmania

G’day

I’ve been harping on about Tasmania quite a bit over the last 12 months or so, and rightly so too, it’s a great place to visit and explore.

Especially if you’re on a motorcycle.

Never Leave A Rider In Distress

G’day

Many states in Australia have adopted lane filtering laws.

Each state has their own rules, and while much is similar, there are some differences in what you can and can’t do legally. Which in turn can cause some confusion for interstate riders.

What’s legal in Queensland may not be in New South Wales or Victoria.

REBLOG: Australia’s Best Motorcycle Roads

G’day

I often harp on about how good the roads and destinations are around these parts.

History, people and the surrounding scenery come together to make most places special in their own way.

Never Mind The Bollock(ie)s.

G’day

I Can See Clearly

G’day

In last weeks post, Take The Long Way Home, I mentioned arguing with myself about why I don’t ride the scenic route home from work more often:

Take The Long Way Home.

G’day

When I worked on the Gold Coast I was lucky enough to have an early knock off on a Friday, usually around 14:30.

This allowed me to take any one of a number of routes home through the Hinterland.

Cormorant Bay

G’day

Its been years since I’ve been out to Lake Wivenhoe for anything recreational.

Years ago, when we lived in Browns Plains on the southern outskirts of Brisbane, we spend quite a bit of time out there just running amok with the kids during the school holidays.

20th Annual Ipswich Toy Run

G’day

The Lockyer Branch of the Ulysses Club of Australia hosted its 20th annual toy run in support of Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. We missed last years event as we were committed elsewhere, but this year we cleared our calendar’s and made sure we could attend.

Cabarita Beach

G’day

Last Sunday The Pillion and I took off down to Northern NSW yet again. I’m not sure what draws us to this part of the world, the roads, the scenery or something else.

It doesn’t matter though, because every-time we head down that way we find something new to enjoy.
