motorcycles, travel, friendship, respect… I may drift off into WTF-land at times so hang in there.

Look What Arrived For Bluey

What, it’s Friday Already?

Where did Wednesday go?

For the first time in ages I’m late with my weekly post, and I apologise for the that. Work just got the better of me, and… well… you can figure out the rest.

But, I has (sic) great news! Look what arrived for Bluey.

Yep. her new suspension arrived.

The order was placed with Izzy at Suspensions ‘R’ Us on October 11, the package arrived this morning (November 4). Pretty good lead time when you consider the suspension has been custom-made to suit my physique. (Move over Seilenos*)

Two thumbs up to Izzy for his first-rate customer service and communication. The whole process has been trouble-free and professional at all times.

For those interested in what Bluey will be fitted with and how much it cost, the invoice is below.

Let the upgrade begin.

Seilenos: Depicted as a jovial old man, hairy and balding, with a pot-belly, snub-nose, and the ears and tail of an ass. He rode in the train of Dionysos seated on the back of a donkey

Except I’m not balding…. umm, and I don’t have the ears and tail of an ass 🙂

  1. That seems a little spendy but it should really prolong the life of the bike.

    • That sort of money is at the low end of the scale and don’t forget the Aussie is only worth $0.73 compared to the US$
