motorcycles, travel, friendship, respect… I may drift off into WTF-land at times so hang in there.

What A Trip It’s Been.

To quote Toad (Hugh Keays-Byrne) from the Aussie movie Stone (1974):

“What a f#$ken trip it’s been eh?.”

  • Six and one half weeks.
  • Four states.
  • Five cities.
  • 43° C (109°F) heat.
  • -2° C (-28°F) wind chill.
  • Numerous towns and villages.
  • Magnificent scenery.
  • Fascinating history.
  • Challenging roads.
  • Broken luggage mounts.
  • Good food.
  • Dangerously worn wheel bearings.
  • Friendly locals.
  • Dirt roads.
  • Flat battery.
  • Great company.
  • 8159.8 km (5070 miles).

I wanna do it all again!

so glad the trip was such a success and that the wheel bearings did not cause danger.
