You might remember a post I put up in May last year about winning some Brownie Points with The Pillion.
It was our 25th parole hearing and I wanted to do something special. That effort turned out so well, we decided to head back to the same B&B this year for a second go.
Unfortunately, the stars didn’t align for us as we’d hoped and we didn’t manage to get away in May like we’d planned… or June for that matter. It wasn’t until last weekend that we managed to break loose from suburbia.
In the end it was worth the wait: We had a great time.
When we arrived, our hostess told us it had been raining during the previous two weeks and it was getting cold of an evening. That said we found the days to be around 22°C (72°F) and the nights got down to around 3°C (37°F) with a heavy dew.
Not too shabby for mid winter in this part of the world really.
Anyway, we’ve literally just got back from our time away and we haven’t had a chance to download the photos from our “real” camera, so this post is a little hurried, and I apologise for that.
I did manage to salvage a photo or two from my smart phone though. I hope you like them.
I’ll write more next week. I promise.
