motorcycles, travel, friendship, respect… I may drift off into WTF-land at times so hang in there.

So, I Went Sight Seeing Today

G’day

So, I took a trip out to Noosa Heads today, and decided to head back via Montville, Mt. Mee and Dayboro on the way home.

Located on the Queensland Sunshine Coast, Noosa is about 140km (86 miles) north of Brisbane city and is a nice alternative to the glitz of the Gold Coast south of Brisbane. To find out more about Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, go here, I wont plagiarise their text, the photos below will give you a taste of what you can expect to see.

Form Noosa we headed out to Nambour and followed the Nambour-Mapleton Road to the Kanyana Park Lookout. Kanyana Park gives a fantastic outlook back towards the coast and is an nice place to stop for a cool drink from your saddle bag.

Just a few more clicks up the road is Montville. Lots of artsy-craftsy type shops and cafes along this tourist strip. We stopped at Dusty’s Cafe and enjoyed a nice lunch.

This 350km (220 mile) trip can be easily done in a day at an easy pace.  Stop along the way to take in the views or explore the attractions.  You wont be disapointed.

Cheers
